These are my favorite pictures I've taken on request for someone else. Usually when I take pictures for someone's senior year I get really nervous and frustrated and rushed for time. The difference between this experience is that this was my best friend, and her mother came to help with the assignment. She had some ideas she had pinned from Pinterest and knew what she was looking for with the pictures. I was just there to fulfill her request. Although, I did have some pictures I wanted to try out. The advantage I had with this assignment was that Morgan was my color guard captain until I dropped band and color guard this year for my senior year as Photo Editor. I knew how the subject worked. For the tosses, I laid under Morgan and had her straddle me while she tossed her flag. I was very pleased with how my images turned out. I especially love the colors because I used the technique I learned earlier about in camera white balancing. This day was perfect. It looked like it was going to rain and had the night before, but the clouds were out and it was super cloudy so the lighting was perfect. I will definitely use at least one of these in my portfolio and plan on entering them into contest this year.
